Two annoyances that they really should’ve fixed:
1) The "sync" function only syncs down. So if you are late to start the countdown, you can sync at the next gun. But if for any reason you were early (it happens), then if you press the sync button, it syncs down to a lower minute instead of syncing up to the correct minute.
2) It doesn’t like being left in the countdown timer or chronograph modes without you pressing ‘start’ within a few minutes. It will always switch back to the regular clock, mode after a specific amount of time (I don’t know how long this time is). So if you’re pre-start and you put it into countdown timer mode and then go about sailing the boat, when the gun goes off and you go to press the start button it will have changed back to the regular time mode.
